Why was Mitchell’s field goal worth two points but Papenhuyzen’s field goal worth only one point? Did the fact it was scored during ‘golden point’ time have any bearing?
They’ve introduced a rule where field goals kicked outside 40 metres are worth two points.
That’s why he went for it when and where he did.

We make too many mistakes but thought both teams played a hard game.
Thought we had done a Essington special when we didn’t go for the field goal near the end and you scored in the last minute 
And that was Ray Stone’s last touch for the Eels.
Confirmed ACL tear just as he crossed for the winner and will no miss remainder of season. As he is off to the Dolphins next season he will have surgery and then rehab with us until his contract is up
