Justin Olam apparently seriously considering immediate retirement because of how farked his knee is.
It just shows, the Storm don’t typically willingly give guys away if they think they’re still up to it. That probably should have raised alarm bells. The Tigers are paying him 600k a year until the end of 2026.
Season kicked off in Vegas, Raiders v Warriors. Raiders up 22-4 in the 2nd half. For a fairly passive fan, this is a really good introduction to the new season, game started at 11AM or thereabouts, no AFL on, looks like a decent turn up over there.

They certainly do. But in saying that, Roosters have looked horrible in defence.

Just mentioned in another thread. AFL messed up not having any games here in Melbourne this weekend. Clear air for the NRL as AAMI is pretty full for the game here.
Brilliant 1st half though!!!
Suprised we aren’t down by 100 with the cobbled together bunch we sent down there.
Storm barely turned up in the second half. Scoreline was more impressive than the game.
Panthers looking flat against the Chooks but some To’o brilliance might just get them going. Incredible try. 12 all now.
Goodness me, what a finish. Massive upset for the Chooks, but golly, the Panthers almost won the unwinnable.
Big Nelson already reported again first game back in the Queensland Cup ahead of his return 
Anyone who thinks the AFL umpiring is corrupt wants to watch a Panthers game.

Which particular decision annoyed you? I thought its been OK tonight but I definitely concede I dont understand all the rules.
Cleary left the ground and went straight at the Melbourne player to knock him over
The penalty for a hip drop was never there

This one I agree with, incidental contact according to comms lol. No other player would get that benefit of the doubt.
