NRL 2025

I agree on that, the AFL admin is useless these days, lacks ideas, charisma, presence. Amazing they’ve managed to let the lead reduce in just 5 years when they had such a big head start. Goyder is the main culprit for mine, he’s Vlandy’s equivalent but invisible and incompetent.

Papi done with the Storm, granted immediate release.

Not surprised, or disappointed. He was pretty poor this year, seemed completely pre-occupied. Bring on the Faa’logo era. Gonna be exciting!

Sad that we didn’t get a send off game.
He was untouchable on his day.

Oh, and whoever is running League can’t keep AFL out of his mouth.
It’s pathetic, for mine.
Obvious little brother syndrome.

Unfortunately he hasn’t had “a day” for a few years now, those injuries really caught up with him over the past 18 months. Can’t blame him for cashing in on the new R360.

Yep.
Fair.

This was nice, though.

Absolutely.

And you don’t win a Churchill by being a dud.

Good luck to him.

Negative: we’re a man down with 14 minutes left.
Positive: the man sent off is Walsh…

He have a nightmare or not on your likeable list Wim?

He’s definitely not my favourite player, especially since he should have been sent off in the grand final, but I do respect his talent.

So yeah-nah, he just had an absolute ‘mare.
Would have cost us the game, if that were possible against England.

Hope he’s ok

Someone is going to be in serious trouble for how this was handled.

He copped a head knock in the warmup and “passed” his concussion test then after being allowed to play he copped another hit to the head in the first half and somehow passed his HIA test before copping another hit in the second half. This time they put him on the bench where he was showing seizure type symptoms and they eventually gave him oxygen and put him on a stretcher before going to hospital. Confirmed bleeding on the brain

And so they should.

Hoppa ■■■■■■’ nailed him. He looked groggy just after it and that is when he should have been pulled. Beggars belief that it got to the stage that it did.

Fingers crossed he makes a full recovery. The poor bloke was seriously let down by those that should have known better.

What jurisdiction does NRL and Storm have over a National Tonga team?

Agree that some should be responsible, but would think that Eli himself would be the only one that could take action.

If the NRL stop releasing players or the ARL decide to stop funding it; the comp wouldn’t happen.

It’s a horror show TBH. Where’s the duty of care. So amateurish it’s nearly AFL level.

It seems implausible they didn’t know when everyone else did.

The video of him turning to the trainer and saying he felt no good is pretty sad.

Should never have been allowed on the field to play. Heads gonna roll.

Friggin’ BOOM.
You know…there are English League fans that think they’re the best in the world, despite all evidence, just ‘cos. Just like their cricket fans.

Suck.
It.

lol.
This ref clearly has money on Australia by less than 20.
Good luck.

Walsh is a loose unit.
Respect his talent. He does some very special things.
But by gosh, he did his best to make us lose in the last Test, and he looks like he wants to again.

And…seriously, with a different ref, he’d have lost the Grand Final for them, too.

Edit: Harry Grant you freaking champion.
