Let me rephrase that, his goals have nothing to do with his tap work which has always been a weakness of his game and while Leuy is more of a negate first, win tap second kind of ruck he is still much better overall than Belly. So that still doesnât really help him move in front of Leuy, and I doubt they will play both (unless as I said Hooker has an injury and they want to play him as a FF).

None during quarters. Didnât need to.
I really liked Hartley and McKennaâs disposal out of the backline and the fact that Stewart was able to contribute without kicking a bag of goals.

I particularly liked the part in the 4th where Bitchell was chirping at Tippa who just ignored him like the sack of poo he is

And jeez, opposition players are terrified of Tippa. I reckon half of Greenâs tackles were because the Wet Toast flog with the ball was too busy looking for Tippa

So proud of the Boys today, wanted a 10 goal win and should of wished for more but very happy, very!
Negatives:
Hooker will be the new whipping boy for kicking for goal could of snagged a couple more easily.

Great win, great atmosphere and a fantastic day for footy. And the guy behind me got me into the rooms afterwards! Never been before even though member for 16 years. Too late for the song, but still pretty cool. Walla was signing kids stuff, thought about dropping to the knees and pretending to be a kid but he probably would have noticed the thinning hair (and that Iâm wide enough for a kid standing up!).

Just got back from the game. I havenât seen an Essendon team run and work that hard for a very long time (actually probably ever given the way the game is played). The WCE defence was just confused and unorganised as the ball came in with great speed and smart positioning. It will be very hard to play like that week after week but at the moment Iâm just enjoying the win with quiet contentment. The crowd wasnât going too silly, it was almost like the collective didnât quite believe what was happening before us.

Thatâs exactly what I said. Surreal to see a margin like that for us. At half time, the boys got a standing ovation from the crowd to show their appreciation. So great to be at a game like that.
Also, loved Green taking that great mark in the third. Followed by that little strut past the Eagles player on the ground. Hooker and Daniher were actually openly giggling at that!
