Many years ago he headlined an event where I lived. Rocked up hours early to set up, was quiet, cool, calm … Had a few drinks with us before kickoff. He was charming and spoke well and intelligently. Come kick off time he transformed instantly into character and became the raving looney you saw last night.

I reckon Mike Sheahan is alright. You might not agree with everything he ever wrote, but he is 1000% better than almost every footy writer / talking head at the moment.
