Lachie Ash is a damn good footballer.
We gave it a red hot go. The defensive flaws aren’t getting fixed this year so no point dwelling on that. Effort was fine so no complaints.

Sharp looks like he is going to be a star.
Robey is improving each game and he is built. They struggle to tackle him and he will often have two on him and still get the ball out.
Roberts is very good (yes sometimes gets it wrong)

We are the bottom team any other year in past 10 years. Just that Richmond and West coast are just as bad.

Gotta like the effort which was excellent, and for a large part of the match we executed well.
Last qtr and a half we made too many mistakes and that was that.
There’s a lot to take out the game and learn from.
Sharp getting injured sucks, but Robey stepped up a treat in the last qtr - we have something special to build a team around with the young kids.
