I predict an epic shitfight when we see the top 10 prospect who’s eligible mother-son.
At 10 H&A games per year, you’re going to be waiting a while. By the time someone gets to 100 and gets the kid to age, it will not be a shitfight.

I expect as soon as the first ‘son’ prospects come down the line for clubs that the AFL likes (and lets face it, that’ll be the Dees, Dogs, and expansion clubs who already have teams and whose players have a head start), there’ll be a drop in eligibility to 50 games for the AFLW to reflect the shorter season length.

I’m starting to suspect we’re not going to lose a VFLW game this year, so she may have no use as a “break glass in case of emergency” announcement. If they wait 15 more days until the last day of free agency… well trolled, EFC, well trolled.

I’d quibble on some of it (e.g. Frew at CHF), and it’s still a tall back line and a short forward line.

Goalkicking options shouldn’t be an issue for Essendon, who have recruited several noted scorers. As it stands, the bench is filled with forwards, with the Bombers needing to boost their midfield numbers through the draft. They have a ready-made wing rotation with Cain, Van De Heuvel, Phillips and Gee , while Alexander is likely to play defence given the number of options in attack.
