Dr Pepper Strawberries and Cream is special

Fresca!

As a kid I loved soft drinks other than coke. We used to get Marchants and Tarax delivered at different stages. Now, I find them all sickly sweet. Soda water with a squeeze of lemon is what I’d rather these days. I did go through a stage of getting bitter lemon where the bitterness would offset the sugar to an extent. Today, I’d only drink soft drink if I could dilute it with about 70% mineral or soda water. A can of soft drink has about 12 heaped teaspoons of sugar. I reckon it’s why I have a mouth full of fillings. I’m kind of glad I dropped it a few decades ago, as I’d probably have a mouth full reconstructed or false teeth, and an emptier bank balance, otherwise.

Also, the old two blisters to open cans, made it an event, possible injuries, felt like you’d earned it

Isnt that in all meats, dairy products, nuts etc ?

Soda water and fresh line for me. For the same reasons. Can’t hack the sweetness any more.
