I know this is from the Ferrett, but apparently Quarters is running it too now.

So this is our new and improved governance structure?
Can't complain that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, I guess.
Cue that flog barrett getting his panties twisted over Essendon supposedly wasting the other 20 candidates’ time…
Who is going to be president then? Mind you Little loves the club you could do a lot worse.
What is actually the more senior position at the club, CEO or President...wait or Chairman? What is the hierarchy?
I for one, welcome our new little overlord
Horseburger back in town as president again

Reminds me of Yoda. Cant be a bad thing.
People delving into the constitution
They changed the rules a few years back so Peter Jackson, then CEO, automatically sat on the board.
The CEO is the day-to-day boss but ultimately they follow the board‘s instructions. It makes sense for chairman/president to be separate roles from CEO. Dare I say it, separation is good governance.
Maybe a succession plan is afoot.
Chris Heffernan wanted a larger role in the company. Probably not ready for it yet, but with Paul Little guiding him through it for a year, he might be the perfect choice.
Pure speculation and guess work though.
interesting...
Horseburger back in town as president again
don't know if ray would see out a term sadly.
BRING HIM IN
…and we’re believing him why?
If true, Bad move for mine.
Best to keep Little in current role and appoint a good business manager / people manager as CEO.
I think Little would find it hard reporting to the Board and a new Chairman, given he has already been the chair. At his stage in his career, I reckon he would find it difficult to be a CEO too.
Hope we don’t do this, very unconventional and controversial…not needed.
Little did say during the ASADA investigation that he would eventually step down as president but not at the moment as the saga dragged out, hes probably waiting for the right time which could be very soon to step down but would be good if he became CEO. absoloutly love the bloke he fights for the club as much as he can and is always informing the members on whats going on.
Barrett can be up in arms all he likes… that is the Governance system at the club. The board is elected by the members, and the CEO is appointed by Board.
I have no issue with it, if the board think Little is the best man for the job. He is probably doing the president & CEO’s job ATM. He’s definitely got the CV for it.
Just need to make sure there is a suitable board member to take over as President.
Who gives a flying **** what Barrett thinks…Essendon will do what’s best for Essendon. End of story ferret face. Get back to sifting through bins Damian.
Parrot says a lot of things.
However, I think Little is better suited as CEO. Can actually do the work and I don't feel he is a great spokesperson. Not sure how much time he has left though and I want someone long term.
CEO actually runs the show and manages the joint while the pres is the member's member. I felt Evans was one of us more than I do Little.
lol. Parrot. Sometimes it is the small things...Parrot says a lot of things.
