I'd have thought Guinness would be quite stout.
Olive looks like it’s just been pitted, manually

Not pet-related, but here in wildlife rescue world we're seeing the usual summertime apocalypse of flying foxes getting caught in fruit netting and suffering horrifying injuries, slow strangulation, constrictive amputations, faces swollen up to double size, gangrene, skinning of wing fingers down to the bone. And even if we do get there in time, it's pupping season at the moment and if a mother gets caught in a net (even if she gets rescued the next day) then the pup will starve to death because treatment for entanglement takes several days at best and the flightless pup will be marooned back in the roost with nobody to feed it.
If you net your fruit trees, please visit www.wildlifefriendlyfencing.com to check out how best to do it without creating horrible deathtraps. Most hardware places only sell the bat-safe netting now, fortunately, so if your netting is old, maybe replacement is in order...
If you’re looking for a pet dog, then I urge you to consider adopting a Greyhound. Wonderful dogs.

not enough grumpy cat
Pepper, kelpie X, had her since a pup. Evil genius.
Keith, current foster (our fourth, I think. Interesting experience). Satan x Jack Russell. Bit of a jerk, hilarious though.
Not sure if this occasional resident of our backyard peppermint gum counts but there are claws involved. I hadn‘t seen a koala since April but then this sleeping beauty turned up last month and then again this morning. Note that she‘s(?) found her way back to the same branch. Could be some squealing and roaring outside tonight.
forgot about this thread! I've got a few housemate pics to catch up on!

I know little about cats but I notice you use the term "mew" as opposed to "meow", neither of which sound like the noises I have heard cats make. James Joyce used "Mkgnao" and "Mrkgnao" in Ulysses and some claim that not only are these more appropriate spellings but that those 2 words are the 2 most comprehensible parts of the text.
Seriously adorable, but I am biased towards tricolour kelpies. Speaking of ours decided to go for a wander a few weeks back. Was gone for 2 days before we heard from the lost dogs. Most stressful time ever.Pepper, kelpie X, had her since a pup. Evil genius.

"Mew" was what they had called the cat. I assume it is after the sound! Sometimes kittens do sound like they're saying "mew", but rarely have I heard grown cats make a sound like it.
Here are my latest housemates - Lily and Daisy :)
