As I'm housesitting I get to hang out with lots of gorgeous animals. Currently:

OK we're fostering dogs at the moment. I'll get something up here later.
And we've got a little terror of our own, a kelpie cross something*, who is SCARY smart. But incredibly highly strung.

We're told they're from the same litter. My family is doubtful, but we got them at 8 weeks old.

Anybody looking for a new pet should have a look at this site. These people do a great job and sincerely care about the animals they are rehousing. There are cheaper places, but I doubt there are any that care more.

It's Harpy's birthday today. She's disappointed you didn't send a card.
My wife and I were walking our German Shepherd along the beach at Kawana on the Sunshine Coast, it is an off lead area and a ridge back came up to have a sniff. His owners came up to us and said to us "his name is Jobey, after Jobe Watson" I said "Jobey meet Fletcher". We had a pretty good laugh and I did have my Bombers cap on so he knew I was a Bomber supporter but pretty funny all the same.
