Brad undersold his injury a fair bit today at the presser. The injury report has lobbed and it’s 4-6 weeks.

I guess relative to missing the whole season, 4-6 weeks is short term.
Not exactly 2-3 weeks though.
Wait for ‘he has responded to treatment really well and is training the house down so could be back earlier than anticipated’ in a couple of weeks time.
Blitz made me believe Wright’s leg had blown off and was now a meagre 195cm Peter.

Yeah in that context it’s still a decent result.
Possibly. Ankles (when no syndesmosis involvement) seem be ones that often come on a little quicker than initially anticipated. All the best to him.
Kicked 6 on shacke iirc, one of the few kp players who is less competitive than 2mp. Keith, I think it was, simply refused to give him free access to marking contests

We can play well without Wright, and as many have noted he probably isn’t in Scott’s best side right now, but our forward structure will be in jeopardy if Draper were to get injured too.

Looks like 2MP will be our new whipping boy for 2025 and I’m OK with that.
I just want him in the VFL asap kicking bags.
He’s going to look like John Coleman to the Pies after they realise what a washed up hack they picked up in Membrey.
I still believe Collingwood may be interested at season end.

Yer, I’m clearly desperate to clear 2mp and Parish off the books.
I also believe Hobbs should be moved, though that’s somewhat dependant on acquiring any of Rowell/Reid/LDU.

I don’t see Collingwood taking on 2MP …
It’s even possible he sees out his time at Tulla and just quietly retires and walks away. He’s a quiet individual and spurns any spotlight.
Mind you, would love it if he found his mojo again during back half of this season and helps push us up the ladder. .

They might see value in the sense that they’d say yeah I guess if you want him off your books and you’re prepared to kick in some portion of the salary we’ll give you a token 3rd or 4th rounder.
I don’t see that his standing in the game and how he is perceived (a bit soft and fairly uncompetitive), together with how long it will have been since he put together a stretch of good footy, will allow him being of much worth to us. Unless he surprises us all and comes back into the team and tears it to shreds. But I’m putting that down as very unlikely.
