my ultimate hope is we take a Key forward to pair with Caddy then justice falls a bit to allow a second round bid match

Isn’t he RFA and don’t forget Gold Coast basically pay with the AFLs money.

I think I did read something about they already offered him 10 mil over 7 years so I’d imagine they would be able to match

King did an interview very recently and he just sounded very positive about an extension with Gold Coast. Mind you anything can change during the course of the season, ie Drapes.

On one of Gettable’s last podcasts from 2025, Twomey spoke on Essendon being likely to make an offer to Jed Walter - 195cm forward and same draft class as Caddy.

First time poster - more of a skimmer - but chiming in to say I saw Brad on the Gold Coast 4 weeks ago. It was match sim Friday at the Hangar so thought it was unusual to see him walk past.

Could have been anything obviously… but let’s hope he was meeting King or Walter
