Thanks for the advice on travel cameras everyone. I ended up buying a LUMIX TZ220D on eBay as you cannot buy them in store anywhere now it seems. I have a lot to learn about all of its features (or maybe I’ll just leave it on iA 
). I think it will do the job for me- plenty of zoom and fit in the pocket size.
