This dude’s been camped out in the little nature patch just over my front garden fence all day.

Geelong v North Melbourne, nature edition.

North won this occasion by forfeit when our hooped fellow on the leash decided to make a bee line for the underside of our Toyota and had to be pried off the pavement like one of those car window Garfield dolls with the suction cups.

When old Roos hung around the house on our old family farm, they were often injured, sick or dying.
You might want to file a report with Wildlfe Victoria . A contact number is on its site.

We get them in our little area quite often but that’s the first time I’ve ever seen one immediately out front of my house, in broad daylight anyway. Our ring doorbell cam caught one in our driveway a few months back. I’m just down the street from Woodlands Park and the Greenvale Equestrian Park where there are always dozens of them lying around and there is some new construction 2-3 blocks over which has caused some of them to occasionally stray into the residential zones. Once or twice a week I’ll see one bounding up the main road out of the subdivision.

Unfortunately some of them end up dead on the side of Mickleham Rd which is about 500 metres behind us.

Some smartypants scraped off the rest of the K at the end of that sign.

It’s a climb, but I wouldn’t call it a wall.
