Summer vs Winter!

Yeah, I got excited, as I thought it looked like a photo I had from Hokkaido! This was in a September many years back. Had to mess with it heaps cos it was too dark - brightness, shadows etc - so the sky and mountains lost a little realism to them.

September? Mine was 14th November  Big change!

Someone said I had faked the water in this shot. Glad someone else knows it’s real.

A lake in New Zealand. Can’t remember the name of it - somewhere on the South Island.

:joy: actually I saved the name in the file - Twizel, New Zealand

Amazing sky yesterday. Taken on the run. Annoyed I didn’t notice the power line in the frame. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

A couple from this year

I’ve been contemplating for a good 18 months moving on from taking pics on my phone (hiking, landscape, waterfalls, wildlife etc…) and video on an Action Cam (GoPro).

I desire photo and video quality in equal proportions.

Pretty much settled on the Fujifilm X-H2 bundled with Fuji’s 16-80mm lens to begin with. All round performance without quite the bulk of a full frame camera.

ie …more realistically clippable to a backpack strap.

Just throwing it out there for the photo enthusiasts in here.

Fuji cameras very popular in the portrait and street shooting market in Japan.

Honestly there isn’t really a bad mirrorless on the market right now and the lens selection is really getting some sweet unique stuff.

Most important part of a camera is to continually use it!
