Found the cute little bugger who jumped/fell on my head as I opened my front door last night.
They might be disappointed by their visit: this is the most bug-free home I’ve ever lived in, even though it’s not particularly well-sealed.

I think it’s the first huntsman I’ve had in 13 years here.
Only a few daddy-long-legs, too.
FFS Harr[y|iet], don’t put a single stand of web across my bedroom door at head height.
Once I put my lenses in, I found they had relocated to just above my bed.
Huntsmen don’t do webs, they hunt their prey on foot.
Will keep your house pest free.
I usually make a bargain with them, stay out of my bedroom and you can feel free to roam.
Move into my bedroom and you will be re-located to the wood pile.
