Nope.

Fair point to make
Although Dalgleish really never got much of a run

Can you only imagine how fast our team would be
He would be an ideal tag on someone like Isaac Smith and allow our other gun midfielders to play their own game

Lol. No he wouldn’t .

Hopefully we ask for extra time, like Ridley and then watch the S**t hit the fan

Hopefully the Blitz server doesn’t hit the fan.

Friday morning for our first draft pick should be peak Blitz

Article on AFL.com from Cal Twomey talks about Hawthorn trading up from pick 53 by trading a future first rounder. How is it that they can trade future 1st rounders still? Haven’t they taken only 1 first rounder in the last 10 years?

I just want a player with perfect hair. Can’t have enough players with perfect hair on your team. Ability? Meh…

Yeah, was looking at his highlights a few days ago and thought if we were looking for a small forward smokey at pick 66 (or whatever it turns out to be) he might be an option. Learn off Fanta and all that.

So say club A trade a pick with club B.
B can use their new pick to trade with club C on future picks?
If club B gains 1 pick too many picks for their list can they still ontrade with another, club D for more future picks?

I think Hawthorn have to use a first round pick in next years draft and the year after. Apparently you can still trade it this year with the idea that next year you will trade later picks to get back into the first round. If this doesn’t play out you deal with the consequences.

Correct, they would have to trade one back in. Would be hilarious if no club traded with them just so the dorks would receive a penalty.

Do clubs still have a 3 minute time limit?
Is a further 3 minutes initiated when they ask a pick trade?

Hahaha, that would be great. Apparently the AFL have said they will be very flexible with the trading future picks rule as long as you can convince them that you have plenty of young talent and that your list isn’t ageing. I don’t think Hawthorn tick either of those boxes though.

Maybe not, but they fit the final category of being Hawthorn.

I don’t believe that is right. You basically never have to use a first round pick if you don’t want to. You just can’t trade future picks if you haven’t taken enough first rounders in the previous 4 years.

You can trade your current first rounder though.
Hawthorn took 2 first round picks in 2015 so they’re still able to trade their 2019 pick.

I don’t understand why we can’t trade 1 of our 2 2019 second rounders if we want. I’d say there is every chance we can and the communications specialists just ballsed up that article the other day
