Man on man isn’t a sustainable team defence. It’s why I absolutely hated Scott reverting to it when he needed a win to save his ass.

Fair comment

It’s interesting that only Freo and Essendon have 3 (or more) tall forwards.

Every other team has 2.

For Freo it clearly works well.

You have wonder how all this change effects the players.

First I acknowledge what we were doing was destroying our players development and confidence.

But now Solly will implement his plan to hopefully help the team but to also help his chances if he chooses to apply.

But if he’s unsuccessful then another coach comes in and teaches a new system.

This interim thing is a ■■■■■■■ lose lose. In other codes the new coach just comes in and starts from day 1.
