Sack all the frauds. They are the most softest players I have seen play for this club in my time. Some of the young fellas in the VFL had a good game. Bring them in.

The preview thread was embarrassing for a club that, before today, had won 1 of their last 28 games.

Delusional with how bad we actually are.

Pick 1; AFL assistance package; senior junk players leaving…this is what I pray for every day with our sack of ā– ā– ā– ā–  team.

Game plan:

  1. Backwards first option. Switch no matter what.
  2. Everyone go for the mark.
  3. Wait until the opposition mans up. Then kick. See 1. Crucial.
  4. Quarter ends before red time.

Yes it was me, I’m still in shock of how bad our game plan and lack of structure is, we had a lot of talent out there today that is capable of playing way better than that.
I will not suggest we win another game for the rest of the season, promise.

Everyone that came back was so rusty. Feel sorry for Cox he was in form

Let’s hope you still feel this way in five years time when we are still bottom four with yet more work to do….i agree btw

We need a package. With the compromised drafts it’s gonna be hard to add the half a dozen elite talents required over the next 3-4 years.

Redman looks like the only player that actually believes he can beat his opponent.
We certainly don’t play like we think we can. Our entire gameplan seems to avoid contests at all costs.

problem is it’s difficult to separate between

  1. this what a team bottoming out looks like

versus

  1. we are and continue to be genuinely ****** up and ****

Agree. I don’t think Solomon gained anything from dropping cox and Tsatsas.

By the way, North may be better than us but they’re still nfg.

Not seeing anything that convinces me that Sollly is the answer.

It’s like pulling teeth watching us play, everything we do is such hard work for no reward.

Ridley having no awareness that he was about to be chased down after going for a stroll in D50.. what the f was he thinking?

We refuse to use the centre corridor. Only Robey presented there when he went into the middle In the last qtr.

We didn’t use Merrett at all as an effective outlet pass from Half Back.

Defensively we guard grass but don’t know how to hand off players or go to the contest to assist.

Our leading patterns are shot. We run away from the ball carrier trying to find space over the back when one player should turn and come to the ball, another run to space.

And our kicking. That’s a whole other thing. McGrath is possibly the worst kick in the league.

Dude I’m praying harder that in 5 years time every team in the AFL hates us because we’re dominating and the AFL are trying every trick in the book to bring success to their shiny new toy the Tassie Devils (and failing miserably)!!

It feels like they have been ā– ā– ā– ā–  forever and are still ā– ā– ā– ā– .

As bad as Solomon is, are north really that well coached?

We are just so timid

North we’re pretty niggly off the ball all game

Wicks was the only guy that stood up for himself and his teammates

Ben McKay got bullied by hie defender all game, and refused to stick Up for himself. It’s pathetic

it’s been like this for ever and a day

nothing is changing

all i can say is, it’s lucky for the club that there are enough delsional sycophants that will happily be proud of where they are at, and will continue to throw money at the club to validate their ā€œworthinessā€ as a supporters.
cos if they had to validate why people should hand over their money, they wouldn’t be able to find one single reason as to why they should.

but hey, lets be proud of this, it’s the essendon way. who cares if we finish bottom, just always gotta be proud of what the club says or does, it’s the essendon way.
