Sack the coaches!

Still pretty flat about Draper’s departure reckon he will be a much bigger loss than some on here think. Not a great reflection on our club unfortunately.

Anyway really pleased with the draft crop so
Hopefully they can provide some excitement in
What I suspect will be a tough year.

first time hearing about this “Dr Part”, probably got his degree out of a cereal box

Agree 100%. We showed incredible patience with Draper, who did a runner in search of a quick payoff. As did the other bloke with the legendary and loyal uncles.

Wait till we play Brisbane and he rag dolls the likes of Bryan and Vigo out of the middle

I think it’s a fair observation and comment. I am still concerned on our game play myself despite some clear positives. Not convinced yet on our coaching ability and that’s me just being honest. I have heard Brad Scott thinks the idea of game plans is a bit of an over done narrative and the top teams just do the fundamentals at a higher level…through natural talent, development and yes, some coaching. I kind of get what he is saying but I am still waiting to be convinced on the development area myself. I will say to my eyes coaches have more often picked up players bad habits than previous years. But I can see myself we have a way to go also. Skills still a big concern.

So nothing has changed cool

Not if he looks like he’ll win a Brownlow.

Had three track watchers all call out Unwin and how well he was doing. Bit of a smokey

So says Nino’s man… :man_facepalming:

Maybe the players are too dumb to implement or follow game plans

That’s how I saw it.

Looked like a match sim was going to start, but wasn’t a full match sim and only part of the ground was used. Didn’t go for long either.

However I did leave about 12:00.

Go to training and see for yourself then mate.

He will soon find out why…

Actually thought that both Wright and Caddy were pretty disappointing today. Both dropping lots of marks they should have taken, with Wright in particular being spoiled by smaller opponents. Caddy had the task of Reid in a lot of drills which could explain his tougher day.

With that being said, it’s always tricky to know if they’re being given a directive to bring the ball to ground for the purpose of the drill.

I was also hoping to hear a little more voice than I did today, Redman is always noticeable but he needs a few more mates.

That is quite a concerning thing for a senior coach to say.

Tbh i reckon his brother thinks similar. But Cats have elite recruitment and development

Maybe he’s teaching the fundamentals first then games plans come later?

Imo our group of players are a special bunch they are that far behind to the rest of the comp that they need baby steps

I have often felt that players running under the ball are concerned about their opponents.
