No new injuries per Patrick Ryen’s report above. Reposting below:

In the annals of the Essendon Football Club’s storied and often tumultuous journey through the rigours of elite Australian rules football, there are moments — rare, resplendent, and quietly triumphant — when the relentless focus on conditioning, resilience and meticulous preparation converge so harmoniously that a single training session passes without the unfortunate accompaniment of fresh injury setbacks; such was the scene on that Tuesday morning when as the first pale light of dawn crept across the sprawling fields at The Hangar, there was a palpable sense amongst the players, coaches and high-performance staff that this particular session would — against all the anxious expectations carried by supporters and analysts alike, raised by a season that had known its fair share of misfortune — be etched into memory not for calamity but for its serenity, a rigorous yet graceful choreography of running, ball work, contest, skill execution and strategic discussion that saw every bomber return to the sheds at day’s end none the worse for wear, each sinew intact, each muscle without complaint, and no new names added to the club’s ever-watched injury list, a testament to the carefully calibrated training loads, the holistic attention to player well-being, and that almost imperceptible alchemy of team spirit, physical preparation and sheer discipline that sometimes, just sometimes, allows an elite sporting group to pass through the fire of physical stress unscathed, leaving coaches to praise not just their players’ skill and effort but the unseen and unglamorous work of conditioning staff and medical professionals who, day after demanding day, labour to keep their athletes healthy and ready, so that for the briefest of moments in that ordinary Tuesday routine, the Bombers flew into the coming days with nothing but the satisfaction of a clean bill of physical health and the unspoken hope that such a session might be a harbinger of good fortune to come.

I understand he ran training from the coach’s box…

You really need to stop thinking Brad Scott is a good coach, and its only the enviroment that’s holding him back

This was early 70’s. German names in the east end of London were still rare cos of the blitz. Maybe not so for Aussie pedophiles entertainers.

That’s a very long sentence.

You on the good gear?

That seems to suggest that outside of the head coach, the club isn’t a basket case.

Fascinating.

My opinion on Brad’s coaching ability is nothing to do with it. Personally i think Brad is average. I just want to work out why people on here seem to think Chris is the second coming of Christ. When looking at there coaching careers its been a stark contrast. One has gone into a club that has been recently overhauld top to bottom (Chris) the other has gone into 2 clubs that are basket cases off field, and has not been able to turn it around (Brad), yet your all happy to applaud the one that has walked into the club that got overhauld before he walked in (Chris). And ■■■■ can the other who didn’t shy away from either of the challenges at North or Essendon (Brad).

Not at all, I just find it hard to work out how good a coach Chris is? Put him in charge of North and i can garantee he will be in a similar position to Clarkson. He has been gifted a very good team and system. Brad has not.

Coaches look really good when things go Rigbt. They look really average and ■■■■ when things start going south, is all im saying.

Chris got kissed on the ■■■■ walking into Geelong when he did.

Brad had twice walked into clubs that are getting reamed with a large Orbital attachment.

Completely different situations with completely stark outcomes.

Coach can only do so much when the players are lazy and the culture is ■■■■■

Link to the Brad Scott thread for those struggling to find it. Almost 100 posts since the last training post in the training thread. C’mon…
