wait your role is calling out ai, what sort of industry and why? in my work it’s overtly encouraged

We’ve had many come back from injury, but no one will make a bigger difference than when Bryan comes back (provided he comes back with a good mind set)

Also, people constantly asking for the coach to be sacked is not helping the club. Let the club sort that out since they know what’s going on behind closed doors and you don’t.

If our on field team improves this season half as much as the off field social media team have done over the off season we are in for a very exciting year. Our social media presence this season has gone through the roof.

Love the Dare to Believe membership push narrated by Jobe.

I might just be a negative prick but if blackiston is doing well and the team is going well(unlikely) then it shouldn’t be a given he comes straight in.

Agree, not sure he will be the walk up first ruck many presume

The game against Richmond will be the first dose of semi reality.

I feel there has been a good balance of realistic reviews of training. Especially compared to previous seasons.

I’m interested in how defence is being balanced against attack.

For Richmond maybe…

It shouldn’t be it would be nice if players had to earn their spots through vfl games but if injuries hit in the backline it could well be move blackers back again and come straight in

I’m very uncertain on our round one team. Basically I just want Jayden Nguyen in there and the rest can fight it out.

Just be interesting to see where a lot of players land over the first month.

Does Sharp get a start round one? Does Farrow work in his way into our crowded half back line?

Does Huss get a look over Gresh?

Does young Zach Johnson get a look?

It’s an exciting time knowing that new faces will be generating big selection pressure.

Until the inevitable injury crisis.

Blakiston is training against a 2nd year twig. Im not hanging my hat on training reports about him.

Selection pressure is what we need. But we also need to reward good form with selection. Scrub season 25 because everyone (other than Tsatas) got a game. Seasons 23 and 24 saw some head scratching selections. I hope that doesn’t repeat.

Blackstones strength is his mobility, he only has to draw even on the ruck and that will be good enough.

In short, I have to read things people have written that they’re supposed to know inside-out. (Not teaching btw.) The AI use isn’t precisely the problem - it’s that they skip all the thinking and reflection that accompanies communicating through the written word. Language is slippery…by leaving the final structure to the machine all kinds of new inferences and emphases appear. Especially when it relates to complex projects. And especially when you allow it to suggest details to ‘enhance’ your basic ideas.

As this is the Training thread I’m confident this discussion is in the right place.

Thats not bad at all.

1 star player
1 B22 ruckman with a lot to prove
1 young stud who will likely be B22 in the first half of the season.

The rest are currently VFL depth.

Hopefully they are all fit and firing soon (bar Martin) but we could be a lot worse off.
