Yeah - He’s got the full range of facilities at the Hangar during training hours and he can share drills with other players. Why do you think older players return to training early?
to lead by example, to set standards, to show they care, to socialise with their team mates

Exactly my point. Better to use a quality training facility instead of running around a park. I imagine the senior players would flit in and out of training and do their own thing.
You’re over analysing it.
One day in a whole pre-season spent out in a park is not going to make or break a players pre-season. Especially this early in the pre-season. Heck, even two or three training sessions away from Tullamarine isn’t going to make that big a difference.
We’ll also have some training sessions at Windy Hill from time to time.
Sometimes, a small change here and there can re-focus players when they return back to the main training session. Especially during pre-season. We wouldn’t be doing this during the season (unless it’s a kids camp).

It’s not rubbish!! I was warned about using MEGA as it was deemed to be a reference to Trump. I know who the moderator was so to avoid being banned I just shut my trap but I was pretty angry at the time. He’s obviously not a Trump fan!
