Preseason Training 11/11/24 (and onwards till someone creates a new thread)

I reckon Hobbs finds his way to Geelong and stars in the in and under role

Hobbs is the type of player we think other clubs are into and they really aren’t, otherwise he’d be gone. Looks at Mass.

I’m not sure why any of them would be complaining…they’re clearly not elite in the areas they were previously playing. Suck it up.

Can’t read it from behind the paywall - headline indicates something along the lines that @CJohns posted.

Problem is he does if the opposition are kicking easy transition goals too

To win the Joel Selwood lifetime brain injury award

Serious question, has Hobbs ever been given a good run of games in his natural position at AFL level ?

It simply doesn’t work to play all the players on your list in their best positions. Snelling for example best position is on ball, I think he killed it last year in SA. Should he been given CBA’s while he was at Essendon/PA?

Yes it was round 17 in 2022 when Caldwell ran with Neale and destroyed him. Caldwell 26 disposals, 7 tackles and a goal. Neale 21 disposals, only 8 kicks, no goals, ineffective.

Bombers won by 10 points.

It’s a simple yes or no answer.

His first two seasons he played a mix of midfield, wing and forward and I thought he was actually really good for a first/second year player.

I think he did in that little stretch of 2023 midway point when Parish, Shiel and Setterfield were injured.

He looked pretty good too. Vaguely recall a standout game against Carlton on Queens bday.

You mean before Brad arrived ?

Brad was the coach for his second year.

I can’t remember but I doubt it, so I’m going with no.

TMP & Langford.

Tsatas played wing HBF, Cox played defense, Hobbs HFF.

Players were wedged in everywhere to fit them in.

Like Ridley & Redman go fix up Stringer?

Ask the players how is Centre Half Bench?
That will get them playing any ■■■■■■■ position!
