"I said to our physio staff before we even took him (in the draft), ‘He’s more professional than a lot of our players’. So I was really excited when I knew we were changing a few things around to try and get him.”
Gee whiz our players have fallen that far behind that a kid in his first year is more professional fmd hopefully we start seeing a change this season in professionalism
How are we going to defend turnovers when our crisp, efficient ball movement is non existent? All these people want us to play quickly and efficiently.
We can’t - our disposal is dogshit and when we stuff it up we are badly out of position and we get killed in transition. Rinse. Repeat.
Loved Jakeys heroics and yes, someone has to kick 42 goals, but this will probably be Jakes last season. Its not like he actually made us a better team. No finals wins in his incumbency and no finals in 2024. Time for a mini rebuild.
It’s a bit of a mystery with Parish but it’s definitely a defining year for him. If he’s struggling to overcome an injury then the best option is for him to progress slowly and build form and fitness in the VFL before returning to the AFL. Cheers.
