Great cheers!
Sorry disagree regarding Jones. His link up play wasnt vital at all…in fact i felt he hurt us with his slow decision making and average kick. Even when he would take a good mark he would often look sideways for that slow 20m kick, completely stiffling our momentum.
Not to mention the countless time his direct opposition killed us going the other way.
When he was playing forward he tried pretty hard to run and chase i guess but he had no offensive impact whatsoever.
He’s really gotta lift his game if he wants another contract imo
Jones has the build now to make it as a forward, if he gets a crack at it.
I don’t rate Jones or Cox that much on the wing, ok for relief but don’t want them their all day.
more in the line of forward/rucks against Wright/Draper
They both have more versatility though.
Depends if we play Bryan as number 1 ruck or draper.
What are the details for Bendigo, I might duck in.
Would very happily ship him off if it would help us get in nice assets
They are remaking this song
the diet supplementation and sport sciences starts a lot earlier now.
Good to see the intensity early on in our training. It’s been missing for quite some time. Now we just have to learn to carry it through a whole season.
They are equally versatile and capable of maintaining success in the VFL. Jones & Cox are not in the starting 22.
Being that it’s now well known that winning the ground ball game wins finals, it’s an interesting approach from Brad having both Cox and Jones on each wing.
So they literally got back a couple of weeks ago and tomorrow is their last session for the year…cushy
They have 2 weeks of training left. I think they finish on the 13th/14th.
Says in the article that the 3rd is the last session before the players go on Christmas break
This club is farked.
We will have to wait and see but I read it as the last open training session before the break.
Sack the writer. It’s not right
There’s Member fan day on Saturday with training then the website lists Tuesday 10th as a training date
In my opinion it’s unlikely they’re both starting 18, and borderline whether either is starting 18, but I think there’s definitely space for one in the 22. For me that’s more likely to be Cox as basically bench cover for any position on the ground.
A lot depends on the ruck setup though. And what they do with Wright.
Harry is a more rounded footballer at this stage and is a must in the 22.
I am yet to be convinced that Cox will make it but he does have skills.
. He’s still got a long ways to go to prove anything other than his body held up in 2024 which was pleasing
