Made the finals, but limped in.
Players were not properly prepared preseason and it cost us games early. Foot skills in particular have not been improved.
The head coach has no idea on how to change things up on game day. No Plan B. Bland, uninspiring coaching performance troughout the entire season.
Played injured players over the last 6 or so weeks.
Younger players not being developed.

A full on, top to bottom review of the entire football department is needed.

7/10 if we had won the final
4/10 because our last month was not good, not good at all: our structure is dead, our game plan is lacking, our skills are going backwards and no one produces inspiration off the field and only little amounts individually on the field.

6/10. Started very poorly, looked well short of a gallop pre-season and started that way. Thought we’d turned a corner despite losing Anzac Day the proceeded to lose a further 2 in a row to slump to 3-5. To make the 8 from that position (9-5 over the remaining 14 games) was a commendable effort with a growing injury list, to structurally key players no less. Some damaging defeats late in the season and another finals capitulation leaves a sour taste in the mouth. What happens next is anyone’s guess, but serious soul-searching, and a thorough review of the entire football department, is required if we are to get the best out of a talented if somewhat underachieving list. Coaching and fitness/conditioning will be the biggest benchmarks used to measure improvement, not necessarily a raft of new recruits…

If that is truly how Fantasia feels - which I suspect it is - then the culture of the club is ever worse than I previously thought was possible. Take a big knife out and start again. We are cooked.

I rate the season second rate

(hence we are irate)

(Edit: Too soon for puns?)

How many games did we as supporters go into this season and genuinely think “yep, we’re gonna smash the opposition this week” and we actually did?
One? Maybe two?
There is your season in a nutshell.

3 points with thanks to the wins against Brisbane (Walla 7 goals highlight), North X2, GWS and Adelaide.

Rest of the season :confounded::-1:

Not a lot to get excited about.

Capable of better, shows no sign of development or learning from past mistakes. Severely under-prepared in the first semester, which hindered any chance of success in later semesters. Was always playing catch-up. Failed all dummy exams during the year, culminating in an epic fail in the live exam.

Another failure of a season

5/10 making finals gets us to 5. Plus being without Daniher and Smith for large parts of the year
but we never fired a shot in the Final again.

Not confident that our game plan stands up against good sides.
Cant take any confidence into next year.
Any hope we had was dissolved in last nights poor performance.

Wholesale changes needed at the club starting at the top.

I enjoyed watching Redman, Parish, Saad, McKenna and once a month Tippa A+.

The rest of it, gosh, was ok 6 weeks ago with a decent run of games. Since then stinky, very stinky. D.
