A father gives in to his son’s wishes, buys him first bass guitar and books in some lessons with a music teacher who lives close by.
The kid comes home after his first lesson and proudly says “I learned ‘F’ Dad!”.
Next week, he comes home and announces that he has learned ‘G’.
Third week, he comes home with the news that he can now play ‘D’.
However, on the fourth week he doesn’t come home until after midnight.
“Where the hell have you been, son?”, asks the father. “Your tutor lives in the same street as us and you should have been home hours ago”.
The son replies “I had a gig”.
