I’m old enough to remember when the LNP had a vision and policies. Never really agreed with them, but this was infinitely better than the incompetent, grifting, negative aspirations currently in effect.

Passed the concreting business over to my 2 sons last July. Been doing a few days for them since. Came home from a 3 week trip to NZ just over a fortnight ago. Found out that the young guy, my ex apprentice, has broke his foot. “Dad, we need you to work for the next 8 weeks”. 2 weeks in and I am like carlton, farked. Every thing aches and my eyelids weigh a tonne!!

Reminds me to back then, we had scored free tickets to a JPY concert, there’s Johnny Cougar sitting in the back row with his gorilla bouncers, asked for a a photo, gorillas threatened to kill us, but Johnny said all good. We yapped to him for a good 5 minutes, asked him what he thought of the concert, his reply quote verbatim, the bring me to this ■■■■.
