He was in Dogma and played a Catholic Cardinal who comes with a modern image for Christ…”Buddy Christ”
Great movie and he was good in the role.

Cardinal Glick! Fark I love that movie.
Nice, Swoods.
My favourite Kevin Smith movie by far.
I have it on par with Mallrats for sentimental purposes, but objectively… yeah. It’s his best movie.
Mallrats is cool little movie as well ![]()
You tried to rewatch Clerks any time recently?
Don’t need to, the entire thing is burned into my brain. Are you suggesting it’s aged poorly?
It hasn’t aged well, let’s say that. I cant bring myself to say anything more disparaging than that.
I’ve never been able to get through Clerks…I’ve tried a few times but, for whatever reason, it just doesn’t click with me.
I mean, I have seen it 37 times…
I’d kindly ask you to get your hands off my old DVD collection.
I have five of those movies on DVD.
Can you guess which ones?
The Jarmusch ones?
One of them
Flying High, Chasing Amy, High Fidelity, Ghost Dog, Raising Arizona?
Those three plus Clerks and Mallrats ![]()
If I recall correctly, he also voiced one of the old hippies in the Simpsons episode where the juice gets spiked with weed.
He had one of the best lines ever from the show.
“In a way, the seventies ended the day we sold that van: December 31st, 1979”.
