Every time they switched the play they just got players in acres of space. When we switch, we rarely have free players.

Felt without Draper we really lacked the energy tonight.
Geez i hope Voss has a good game tomorrow and Tex. VOSS is the kind of player that might be able to get the boys up and about.
Much prefer him strutting around the forwardline and having a crack in a contest. we need a few more blokes who put the body on the line.

It was clear it was a problem right from the first quarter.
Not having Draper to strong arm dirty ground balls out the front Of the centre really exposed us because parish just goes in Every time and left theM with a pLayer hOlding their width and they found that man to go out the front a lot
Parish was often starting on the defensive side of the bounce. That pLayer usually holds their depth to protect the front of the stoppage but parish doesnāt play that way.
I think in general they out worked us tonight. We Didnāt get numbers to the contest, tackled poorly, fumbled, didnāt get enough speed on the ball, and all of that let lead to shallow entries that we could not lock in our end.

Not sure. Iām not a fan of our system. The easy opposition get the ball out of our 50 and into theirs is ridiculous
our system makes sense for our list make up, our list make up does not make sense for 2023 footy. its slow and lacks skills.
