Sometimes players just rise to task. Backs against the wall. It happens. A true Essington wouldn’t have had the nerve to take the lead 4 times in the last.

Did Zita say the same thing about Buddy carrying on like a pork chop when they won on a technicality? Please.
Also, how does Zita know what went on between them during the game? Maybe there was a bit of lip going on. Very strange thing to highlight out of the game.

Non-Essington teams wouldn’t let that rubbish team, who have won 3 of their past 45 games, anywhere near us especially when we had a 20 point lead.
That was a woosha, shoot out game today.
Just to emphasise how bad north are… their 3 wins were by under a kick.

I know it’s difficult but got to give credit to North.
They really should have beaten Sydney, had two decent quarters against Collingwood and then got involved in an arm wrestle with one of their biggest rivals.
They will beat GWS in Hobart next week.
It was one of their best sides of the year (on paper) and it showed.

I couldn’t believe it when I saw an Essendon player in number 47 running around in the last few minutes.
I’d already mentally ruled him out for the Carlton game. Thought he was absolutely cooked.

Not just scores against Wim. Often his man is the outlet down the line with Zerk miles off. I like Zerk but he was the weak link defensively tonight.

Debuting Tsatsas next week would be a good move.
Will be a decent crowd and Scott will have the opportunity to rotate him across an excellent opponent at some point.
