I’d love to see in a Grand Final with 15 seconds left and the team up by 1 point and the umpire fluffs the centre bounce, only to waste 5 seconds off the clock and make it physically impossible to score with only 10 seconds left as he throws it up.

That was legitimately one of the games of the season. We had a poor second quarter, but the second half from both teams was epic. Norf brought it.

Found a way to win after a horrible showing. Only thing that makes me smile after that is all 5 lol norf supporters crying they lost their grand final 10 times in a row.

The amount of crap I copped from mates when I told them how much I was bricking it over this game was enormous. I just saw that coming. I’m sure I’m not the only one. I knew North would be up for it, they’re playing with freedom. Hated every minute of that 2 hours but thank ■■■■ we won it because I’d be heading to the nearest bridge if we didn’t.

It sucked that we couldn’t do this victory with much more ease, but at the same time let’s not underestimate the importance of another close win when the chips were down. We are building character. This would have most certainly been a season defining loss in any of the last 15 - 20 years.
