Review Norf game #1 for 2023

Hope he gets fried by other media…

Besides Ziebel, North played out of their skins. It wasn’t like we played 17th at their worst. West Coast are the only non competitive side.

We looked tired. It’s been a massive first half of the season and we just played in Perth. Take that and move on.

Be nice if we had the bye now.

Club needs a reset. I think the scum will get us this week.

We just need Parish and Setterfield back.

It was a good game. And norths recent first round picks are nice to watch.

George and cheezels are great.

The Pies ground out games like that last year. Some great individual performances but the best thing is they kept fighting it out. Next time they play a game where things aren’t going to plan, individuals are down on form, wi s like this could be useful in finding the spirit to keep fighting it out.

1st team to come back from Perth after playing the eagles and get a win.I’ll take that any time.

Oh excuse me, I didn’t realise you operated on a higher plane of enlightenment than us regular plebs.

I’ll try not to be too upset if we lose next week. Carlton are due for a win, we are due for a letdown and without Parish, Shiel and Setterfield it’s going to be a hard day at the office for our midfield.

Still it was against the second worst side according to the ladder by a kick.

Game could have gone either way, flip a coin result

I reckon it was complete lie that the plan was for Shiel to only play three quarters then sub him.

His injury and late withdrawal the two prior weeks has been very murky. He’s had multiple scans and there have been rumours of a season ending injury.

He looked limited in his movement today and was iced up immediately after being subbed.

I reckon they rolled the dice to see if he could play through a foot fracture of sorts, he couldn’t, will have surgery Tuesday and be out for the year.

And if that is the case, who knows how many more times he plays for Essendon.

Carlton are woeful though. They have a lot of work to do to get back to their best footy

Gotta laugh at people who give zero votes to the backline.
Yeah, that just happened to happen.
