Think it’s common to be able to walk freely with a rooted ACL. And if you’ve done it and out for the year, ice probably isn’t going to do anything.

Re Merrett. Need to refer to the actual guidelines rather than pure emotion. My understanding is if in a footy act, a player is concussed, the other player is likely suspended.

Having so many guys heading into next season on the recovery trail from ≈12 month injuries makes it quite awkward for your planning.
We are shaping up like Richmond at this rate who headed into this season with 5 or 6 blokes rehabbing ACL’s.

That’s isn’t the case, as was explained after the Mason Cox spoil attempt.
It was explained that even if it resulted in a concussion he would have been cleared as his intention was the ball and his action was reasonable
