Thanks Kayo, you don’t show Duzz’s speccie in your mini highlights, but you have time to replay Merrett v Lizard.
Arsehats!

We should be putting last years grand finalists away with the quality on our list.
For a seasoned team with very few inexperienced players, it’s concerning we allowed them to nearly get us in that last quarter.
It’s flattening tbh.
He was definitely loose in the first, the 50’s had us bypassing him for our goals.
Just pretend the other team was Essendon.
“Going nowhere with list cloggers like Francis”
“We only got back into it after the game was lost. Club crumbles with any real expectation”.
“Big deal we dominated inside 50s in the second half, we can’t kick goals. No connection in the forward half”.
TL,DR:
They took it in the ass.
Best first half weve played in 12 months I reckon.
The 2nd half though, worst Ive seen since well last Thursday.
This club continues to find ways to leave a sh-t taste in your mouth even when we win.
sums up the match perfectly.
but from individual points of view there was some pleasing aspects.
Caddy 3 goals, commanding marks, gut running, defensive tackles. could have went for more but did the team thing.
Martin and McGrath picking up disposals at will. Day wicks goal on debut.
Merrett went forward with tag.
Goldy battled all day.
Setterfield battled hard like he always does plus leads with tackles again (equal with Duz- today .
El-Hawli started the match and started well.
Zach Reid was a rock in defence and great user by foot on the way out.
Roberts, Durham, Duursma all
cracked in hard and contributed like usual.
Caldwell nullified Heeney’s influence.
Yeah plenty of positives and again we’re grinding out tough wins finals style, good experience for us regardless who the Oppo are
Their list is in a bit of a weird place. When you get all these highly talented academy players who are all a similar type of mid you get an iffy list build.
Have their awesome mids, Rampe (old, ■■■■) and Blakey, but that’s it. Like a grand finalist and premiership aspirant shouldn’t be turning to Francis as full forward.
premiership aspirant shouldn’t be turning to Francis as full forward.
similar to us with rucks.
They have Amartey and McDonald injured.
Well both their full fowards are injured.
Francis and Joel Hambling might be the least threatening forward line I’ve ever seen.
We might have been in a bit more trouble in the last if they had their first choice forwards to kick to.
Both ■■■■ but
They are missing Logan McDonald, Joel Amarty, Tom Papley, Callum Mills, Errol Gulden, Harry Cunningham and Robbie Fox from their best 22. Arguably Taylor Adams, but he’s a bit more fringe.
I’m not that surprised they look a bit unbalanced at the moment
In the 8 and we have pick 4
Winning
Best chance of getting Reid to nominate us is to keep winning.
100%
I mean his would be cohort of young kids are looking pretty ■■■■■■■ exciting
Yep and still comfortably beat the Giants last week.
GWS aren’t in the 8 mate, can’t be any good at all. Also if we beat them then they’re fkn awful for sure too
I said they look a bit unbalanced. Not completely hopeless.
I’m not trying to downplay the win today at all. It was (despite stopping in our tracks late in the game) a genuinely good win.
