Won by 40 without playing particularly well (outside the 3rd quarter burst) - long time since that’s happened. Really an uninspiring and pretty forgettable game but a win is a win.

We played some horrible footy, midfield pantsed. Lost clearances 41-29
Peter Wright getting back to some decent form important. One of few positives

We’ll only truly turn the corner when we win the grand final.
And it can’t be a close one. It must be a 60 point smashing.
And the season can’t be a standard top of the ladder finish. It needs to be by winning every game.
And winning some of those games by one or two goals isn’t enough. We must be dominant in every game.
Then we’ll have turned the edgiest corner you can every corner.

Surprise surprise… Clarkson pulls the 10 in defence trick today for the first time this year.
40 point win. Better than the 9 and 6 point wins against NM last season.
Not at our best but better against NM than someone with clout. Probably had one eye on next week too with the 6 day break.
Plenty of improvement to come and just keep the wins ticking over.
