Last year we let North hang on all game and scrape home by a goal.
When we needed to kick away we did. Lots to work on but it’s hardly doom and gloom.

They certainly tried some things. Tried to take things away from us with some matchups and accountable roles.
They had a crack at the win. But it should have been 80 points.

Exactly this! They get up for us every year. We weren’t at our best but surely we can’t disappointed with a 40 point win. It wasn’t one of those tight under 10 point games, which both games were last year.

Midfield was disgraced. Goldstein got pantsed. I’d walk if im nick Bryan. We clearly don’t rate him whatsoever. That dog ■■■■ attitude against poor teams always bites us. Guarantee when we are smashed with injuries that the likes of Geelong won’t let up on us

I thought Kelly had an odd match up all game and would have been a good opportunity to see Roberts.
When he got caught holding the ball, again, i just though cmon. Your nearly 50 games in and you still haven’t picked up the pace of senior footy
I really dont know where he fits. Not a forward and not good enough for the midfield. Back to the VFL as a full time midfielder would be his best bet right now

That game was pretty much everything I expected it to be.
From the sluggish start to the poor goalkicking early to the absolute rogering we copped from the umps.
You take the win and march on.

Not as bad as the vibe in here suggests, not as good as the final scoreline would indicate.
Norf came at us early as should have been expected. It’s their Grand Final™.
The umpires kept them alive while we sorted ourselves out and put the game away. Final quarter was routine but a lost opportunity to add %.
