I woulda been happy if we were still in the game at 3/4 time, but to win like we did is extremely satisfying. It feels nice to look at the ladder and aee us sitting second. 4 and 1 gives us a good platform. Tough month ahead but feel confident given the way we played tonight. I have given myself permission to feel excited.

Man that was an amazing win. And completely out of the box, for me anyway. Iām a little in shock. It was just such an even, professional, comprehensive performance. And we actually looked pretty tough, for the first time in I donāt know when. I am having a really good time.

Itās the sort of game to wash away (pardon the pun) the fears about playing in the wet.
Iāve seen Melbourne play and win well in the wet quite a few times over the last 3-4 years and we made them look second rate today.
