McGaune is alright. Flat track bullies maybe not accurate, but was correct that we needed a win like that. He’s giving us credit when it’s due, seems a pretty fair operator.
Every player had a moment when they really had to stand up and they did.
Marks by Francis, Hartley, Guelfi and Gleeson. Parish straightlining at the footy. Merrett, Heppell and Stringer nailing goals etc.
Guelfi’s diving intercept mark was insane. So much riding on it, came from so far behind.
Throw in the Essington drop kicks too.
You’re finally getting your head around the way the coaching panel prepare for a game.
Whenever we cross about 7th on the ladder, these comments are never far away, you could call it “the ped line”, where the opposition supporters lose their mind cos we are the big bad to them, it’s like clockwork, and it’s great, fark em all.
North fans were more upset that we won than Crows fans.
This. Glad I invested in the interstate trip- will remember this for years to come
Hey @theDJR - following up from earlier posts- how about we bring back WOB?? He’s such a passionate supporter, it seems sad that he’s not here to share the joy.
Have another closer look
I rewound and rewatched it last night.
A real champion - and Fark Carlton let him go.
In yesterday’s esports match our team went in as underdogs and dominated. Today our esports team was down significantly (kind of by the equivalent of 5 goals) at about half way through the match… came back to equalize, then went on to win.
I’m very tempted to watch the second and third quarters again, with a pen and notebook comparing the amount of times a handball went below the knees or worse to those that didn’t.
I feel like there would be a significant difference.
So did I …Hooker was grabbed by the jumper…clearly
A couple of howlers aside, which you’ll always get, if I were one of those conspiracy people I’d be on the #Essendonsturn bandwagon after last night.
We did better than okay out of the decisions.
That’s great. He’s a champion and that’s exactly the spirit our game should be played in. Fantastic
15:30 in the third. Betts flies for a mark against Francis. Studs up.
That’s a free right?
