I still can’t get over a couple of those back half turnovers. It was legit like they thought the Brisbane players were Essendon players. Is there a chance McKay is colour blind? Usually you can tell what the player is trying to do.

Went into the game with 0 expectations, so can’t be disapointed. Cheers to another classic Essendon season.
We did that last year. I reckon it’s not a number. It’s about opening up opportunities and rebalancing the list. We cut depth players last year. I want to see spots open up for youth in our best 22.

Oh I agree, it’s got to be experienced players on the table this year. As a bare minimum 2MP, stringer and Jones should all go, our forward line is desperate for a revamp.

Some other kick-ins have nothing to do with the midfielders. Although creating some leads may help.

But nope. The same mediocre, peahearted, poorly skilled, low IQ trash we’ve become best friends with over the last two decades.
Now to unfollow all the players on social media so I don’t have to witness the months ahead of drinking, partying and all round good times. And before some smart arse questions “wHy arEn’T tHeY aLLoWEd a BReaK!???” - of course everyone is. I just don’t want to see it after the last two months of crap they’ve dished up.
