I agree, I predicted us to lose by more. Brisbane to me are not playing well maybe due to them knowing they have the talent to turn it on when required. We unfortunately don’t have anywhere near the talent compared to the lions. Even if defeat looks similar to Collingwood.

No, Brisbanes list is easily the best in the comp imho and that’s without a replacement for Daniher.
Filth aren’t far behind. Their backline and midfield talent is elite as well

We didn’t go back into our shell once we hit the front. We stopped playing attacking footy.
We stopped being direct. We went backwards with handballs & kicks. Stopped taking contested marks to improve when we went forward.
They capitalised on our errors. They capitalised on free kicks. They capitalised on poor decisions.
No matter how much you swing it, some of more experienced players make poor decisions week in week out. Very frustrating.
Make anzac day Collingwood V Geelong or Collingwood V Hawthorn, something exciting like that.

I agree. When they said Bombers coaches box couldn’t communicate with the bench, get a ■■■■■■■ mobile phone, get a runner to run from the box to the bench for ■■■■ sake! Even crocodile dundee got a peice of wood on a string.
And the game plan that they do show in 10-15 min stints, they cant sustain it. So trash the plan & start again.
We got our ass cheeks spread in the clearances. But we have our best kid at clearances in the VFL, and have Setterfield playing in the important development games.

We cant play wet weather footy.

We took on a top 4 experienced side and got into the game for 3/4s.
Thats better than most of the other sides in the league with our profile.

I’m sure Scotts communication to the players to run harder would have changed the tide of the game. We have no ■■■■■■■ leaders. You see things not going your way? Well take initiative and make a move yourself. Where’s our leaders? It doesn’t even matter. They have A-grade talent across their squad. We have C.

It farking annoyed me today always gave those collingwood kents half a leg rope. poor Durham had 2 Pies players hanging onto him trying to win the ball forward not one Essendon player was near him to help

Scott trusted Hobbs with Daicos in the centre when the game was still in the balance at the start of the last.
We were in the game with 15 mins left; needed the next goal to bring the lead to 12. We were +7 in clearance for the quarter at that point.
Even 10 mins to go we are 19 points down; Merrett doesn’t find Caddy with a deep entry, Pies rebound and goal and the game is over. What happens if we score there?
