Why not play McKay in the ruck, he can’t play anywhere else. I would play Alwyn in the back pocket, he is ideally suited to the position. He cant do any worse than McGrath.

Changed the way we played after the first qrt made Collingwood look very ordinary and we got in front on the scoreboard because of it just couldn’t sustain for the whole game.
That’s what we need to focus on play that way but for a full game
That’s why there are good teams and bad teams Nino.

We lost by less than I thought we were going to lose by. I’d consider that a win.
The final margin flatterd the Pies imo we made them look ordinary in the middle part of the game imo
We continue to carry too many spuds… Need to start focusing on developing a team that can compete in the future. Need to drop players like Jones, Menzie, Gresh, Prior, Shiel and just take the losses on. I recon that ADW and Johnson could come in for a couple with SEH. Time to develop is now.

We had some control in the 2nd 10-15 mins, and a 10min patch in the 3rd.
That’s no where near enough.
If ADW has another good game tomorrow I would bring him against North.

It was great, we had the momentum and did well. The effort was there, just too many players that lack skill. Collingwood had elite talent sprinkled everywhere… fckn recruiting fairy dust sprinkled across the park.

We need to hit this years draft hard and hope to someone we actually nail some elite kids and then get Bewick the following year and hope again that he turns into a freak, then in 2029 we might be a chance.

We lost basically by the same amount as the reigning premiers.
We got Collingwood in top form and we aren’t (with just as many if not more key footballers out)
Predictable result imho
