Review v gws @ metricon round 19

All I am arguing is that the AFL do not have a vendetta against Essendon which is what some people are trying to suggest. If another Melbourne club had the 2 Sydney teams coming up, they would have been given the same orders from the AFL.

So frustrating how rutten makes note of how we didn’t press up enough when defending the ground…

Same thing again tonight.

It’s literally a free pass to half way against us.

We’re relying too much on individual brilliance (Stringer recently, previously Tippa), and Merrish have been carrying too much in the middle.

I’m not sure how we get the points against well drilled teams over 120mins.
If we win a qtr, we probably have to outscore our oppo by 5 or 6 goals.

It’s a big ask.

Yep very concerning signs

We will beat western Bulldogs. Lock it in.

Where is the presser?

Careful, apparently knowing where our deficiencies are is making excuses.

6 goals if we’re lucky!

Shut up Josh.

We’ll see how they respond against Sydney

Using a burner account nino?

We will match up better against the swans, but yeah that second half wasn’t good today

Not sure. They’re just making snide remarks and looking for an argument tonight it seems!

I pray that buddy gets suspended he’s going to kick 10 on Stewart

I hope he responds well but the guy plays to the best of his ability.
With a tired hooker, “injured” Tippa and no Jones he should have stepped up but he still brings his all to his games

i’m certain i’ve seen some suggesting ‘we are only a key forward away from being a contender’.

Obviously most of us know that’s rubbish.

we’re probably better than bottom 4, but not really by much.

as much as i’ve loved parish’s development this year, you are spot on that our midfield is still a problem.

We are going to have another Menzies aren’t we?
