Which is a very good indicator of how poor we were for the majority of the game.

Having said that, always tricky to play Sunday after the bye.

Great win. Love Caddy up forward which allows Jones to roam and mark that kick out of defense.

lucky we didn’t decide today protect caldwall and durham from from the brutes of WC in ginbey and yeo, cos you know, we gotta do that instead of backing them in to win against them.

Thank God that’s over.

I’m a bit glass half empty this week.

But rapt Caddy got his two goals, Draper’s return was a success, Duursma adds a different dimension now he is back, Durham makes me erect, Stringer is back in form (or better form) and kicking 120+ is a positive.

Nothing I saw today though makes me even slightly confident approaching games against Geelong, Collingwood & Melbourne (despite issues a couple of those teams are currently having) … but hoping to be surprised.

I really think Caldwell will be a super player for us in the next 8 years.

We looked horrible in parts of that game but they never stop the effort. That is a big improvement on years past.

Umpiring was actually horrible that game. First time it’s like that after a run of solid games for us.
