I mean this backline isn’t just bad… it’s completely non-functional.
What do we do about it other than some kind of uber-flood that results in dour, unwatchable football and doesn’t necessarily mean wins, just closer losses.

The scary thing is we will be worse than this next year, because at the end of this year Rosa will know that Jones, Hobbs, Perkins, Wright, Shiel, McKay, Cox, Menzie, Gresham can’t take us forward and he will need to delist or try to trade them…that will most likely mean a younger side again and even less chance of improvement. We have got a long road of pain ahead of us….we are nowhere near AFL quality

I’ve seen some poor losses in the last few years but honestly that one is right up there with the worst.
Last week they at least had a crack and although the skills were poor I thought there were some positives and happy they battled it out.
There was none of that desperation today and they basically packed it in

Merrett had a huge game
Pretty clear they’re amuch better team than us
Our defence is abysmal, reid and mckay too slow, Adelaide forwards found space too easily all day
Can we play all our games Sunday afternoon? At least we will get to enjoy the weekend.
