The back line was disgusting through that period. Basic skill errors in defence and coming out of defence, turnovers and dropping their heads, couldnât control the ball. / loss of composure. Sure the ball kept coming in but the back line was a rabble during that period

I donât think his form has been terrible but itâs simply better options available.
Just watched Scottâs press conference, I must admit I like the way he goâs about it.
Brad put on a brave face but I donât think he was happy! To be honest we are still above where I thought we would be and I am confident that we wonât make the eight. We are simply not good enough, are we better than last year? I think we are, I think we are fitter and more resilient. Last year we would have lost that game by 10 goals, so thatâs improvement.
Ultimately though our list hasnât changed that much, we still have players that shouldnât be getting games but at this time there is no one to replace them. We have had improvement from only a handful of playersâŚlike Caldwell, Durham, Martin, Merrett, McGrathâŚ.new blood in Duursma and McKay ( he was atrocious last night and along with Gresham has been losing form by the week) but the rest of the players have gone backwards to varying degreesâŚ.Ridley looks awful and to me Redman just disappoints and should be more of a leader.
I stick to my previous posts. It will be 2 years before we can be legitimate finals contenders and even then we have to hope other up and coming teams such as the Dawks havenât passed us byâŚâŚâŚit is all down to Matt Rosa and his team now, cos I do believe that with the right cattle Brad Scott can make us relevant again

Just to clarify wanganeen has played 5 games
I think Scott has been great for the club. Selection might be an issue but itâs still on the players to win with a three goal lead half way though the last quarter.

It is quite alright you can say his name. Talk about money for jam. What a joke.
Last night game (home game, no weather, full strength team etc.) finally showed the improvement being talked about is but a mirage. The powers that be must accept a full rebuild is a necessity, not an option; a path which we shy away from for so very long by keep believing that tinkering at the edges will be sufficient to propel us up the ladder quickly. There is no quick fix with this Club.
Loosing by 2 points or a100 isn`t the issue anymore.

Adelaide are clearly the same level as us. They beat the Giants, very competitive against Brisbane. Still lose games they shouldnât. They had a slow start to the year and we had a fast start. One goal difference between the first game of the year and this one yet some very different views on where the club is at is the result.
