Review vs Crows

People say this cos their delusional that we are a chance to still win games forgetting that it’s more likely we’re just going to keep getting worse and worse again - hammerings by bris, syd and maybe freo just like last year are on the way

I’ve never seen a footy team that needs a psychologist more than a coach, but this seems to be it. Langford needs summer on the couch , his goal kicking under any pressure cost us in multiple games.

You can spot the moment it happens, we kick a goal and it’s all smiles and boom in the rack the dumb farks go

Yeah, worst losses I’ve had to swallow:

  1. 99 prelim

  2. 2017 Gary rohan

  3. 2014 Melbourne game Salem after siren

Last night was top 10

99

I couldn’t imagine seeing the 99 prelim live

giving away d’ambrosio really should end some careers absolute stupidity that we’re trying to fill that gap the way we are, dumbest bunch of dummies going

Harry has done ok but you nail it, useless on the ground and like Mckay can’t handball, teams will identify and exploit him more and more

2000 for me i dont count the 2000 GF as i was not even 4 days old

Yes 13-3. But the drug saga over our heads. Never could enjoy it. That was probably the best on-field ive seen us. We lost a generation of finals footy imo. 2013-2017 would of if the saga never occured been a successful period of the club imo

Drop mckay till the big farkwit can handball, let Hayes have a go. Who cares we gonna lose anyway, maybe Hayes youth can handle this dumb defense we play where our tall guys have to rush back towards goal to defend all the time anyway.

I also believe we tend to recruit nice, introverted young men and have done so since Sheedy. This expresses itself when the pressure is on and these types of players go into themselves, are afraid of taking risks and just worry about their own selves. When we are going well they are happy to climb aboard and go with the flow. They need to be led and when we are playing well get caught up in the momentum of players like Merrett and Durham. Our leadership, or lack of, seems to mirror this. Merrett, who I think is an introvert, has done a magnificent job to develop his skills and be a great leader, but then the depth thins. Ridley, McGrath, Langford, absolutely show nothing as leaders.
On the other side, our extroverts are…… Draper and (?). Draper’s just not an intelligent enough footballer to be a leader.
I look at an emerging Hawthorn and basically see the opposite.
Just a thought1

I watched footy back then, but just wanted Collingwood not to win haha. I was a Geelong supporter younger years. Big fan of Gary Hocking. Best mate supported Essendon so i joined in 2006 and became invested. Oh boy

I’m guessing you regret making that decision to switch teams

ā– ā– ā– ā–  me i was a Geelong supporter as well and got converted

But i liked them cause i liked fords and they were sponsored by ford silly reason but i was very young

Any chance Brad can shelve his height fetish and add some speed to this side.
