Carltons poor kicking for goal in the first half gave us the lead at half time. They had come to play. That was the pleasing aspect of the 3rd qtr to me, Fark carlton, tried their best and , well, no contest against a Bombres outfit that also came to play.

Have to admit. I was as pessimistic as could be going into this game. Been years since we have won 4 in a row, and thought that surely Carlton would snap up a win at some point. Pumped that we smacked them. Loved seeing a proactive coach actually making moves. A Midfield without Parish, Shiel & Setterfield (And with Merrett moved out) getting it done against a team still strong in the stoppages. Couldn’t be happier. And 2MP slotting back in up forward beautifully. Huge.
